Book: Massive portfolio

About the Project:

This work was commissioned by Nick Osetek, tattooer, illustrator, and printmaker based in Durham, NC.

Made to accommodate artwork measuring 11” x 14” (36cm x 27cm), this portfolio is about the size of a standard large pepperoni pizza. Surely the largest footprint of any book Bounty Archive has produced to date.

Four 1-inch brass screw posts secure the front and back covers. Screw post binding allows the artist to easily add, remove, and rearrange works in the portfolio.

The artist’s name and a custom full-size graphic were machine-cut from black vinyl and applied to deep scarlet dover bookcloth. Grainy black washi paper lines the inside for a soft, velvety feel.

Strong neodymium magnets hidden in the 3” flap create a seamless closure.

Screw post portfolios from Bounty Archive come standard with 50 clear protective sleeves. A matching spacer is included, in the event that the client would like to remove several pages and have the book maintain a similar profile.
