Book: Sewn-in Micro-slapper
Video:
About the Project:
Bounty Archive crafts an elegant 96-page micro-slapper by hand. This project features a sewn-in binding style, in which the covers are sewn to the first and last signatures of the book. The book's covers are glued together only around the edges, creating a pillowy textural sensation. This softness, combined with the severe sharpness and uniformity of the books edges make this project a delight to behold.
One of the functional advantages of sewn-in binding is the book’s proclivity for laying flat. Pages turn with little resistance.
