Chicha Morada Caramelos
Chicha Morada is a traditional Peruvian drink. It gets its signature purple color from a special variety of Peruvian corn! These caramelos are made by Ambrosoli.
Snakker
Priya Gold Snakker Bar from India. Lately I’ve been paying more attention to the SIZE of each bounty. When compared to the average American candy bar (Snickers for example), the Snakker bar is VERY tiny. This is a great example of how snacking culture/packaged foods are marketed in the USA with a “Larger than Life” and “size matters” mentality. A huge Snickers bar or a big bag of chips (mostly air) is designed to deliver more perceived value to the customer!
Junkanoo Juice Medley
The history of the Bahamian tradition of Junkanoo (which many believe is named after the legendary West African price, John Canoe) is hotly disputed. The famous festival takes place over the winter holidays each year and celebrates African/Bahamian culture through song and dance. This stuff was delicious and you already know I’m a sucker for a steel can.
Chiky Choco Banano
I first encountered these cookies on a surfing trip to Costa Rica. Made by Pozuelo in the Dominican Republic, they are great dipped in coffee!
Match Ball
Risi Match Ball are amongst my favorite BOUNTY of all time. These are much like the cheeseballs you know...BUT SWEET. Those who know me, know exactly how I feel about Match Ball.
Milo Nuggets
Milo is a power made from malt and chocolate that you can mix into milk (or water if you’re crazy) for a sugary drink! This snack features milo in nugget form.
Fanta Limon
An iconic beverage and a cornerstone of the BOUNTY institution. Fanta Limon can be mixed with any cheap red wine to make the famous “Tinto Verano”. This Fanta flavor is only available in Spain.
