Easy to miss, but hard to unsee. One could easily image themselves overtaking this building and selling pastries or plants in the street-level storefront. Of course, the paint sign stays.

A proper home begins with a well-stocked pantry. I’m always doing plenty of baking so a few pounds of sugar is normal for to keep in my cabinets. If you look closely, you can probably pick out some other familiar odds and ends. The rare Bounty gets stored elsewhere!

Whether my friend Steve knows it or not, he embodies the spirit of Bounty as well as anyone. This top Bounty field agent opens his ever-changing Chateau to me for a long weekend each year where we skate, discuss emerging trends in cooking and new ingredients, and compare notes on lifestyle design while jumping from restaurant to restaurant in Los Angeles. Despite my best procedural attempts, the Chateau ambiance cannot be replicated.
