Turtle Chips - Sweet Corn

These are the first BOUNTY in a long time that captivated me in a new way. Made by Orion in South Korea, these four-layer chips combine an airy crunch with a mild corn flavor and sugary sweetness. During some BOUNTY focus group testing, participants noted flavors ranging from graham cracker, to captain crunch, to bugles. Some participants were timid to try these snacks as the branding led them to believe the bag contained “turtle” flavor. To be clear, the amphibian moniker is a reference to the shape of the snack (which resembles a turtle shell) and nothing more.
